Kayvon Rashidi earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 2013. In 2016, Kayvon graduated from the University of Texas School of Law with a Juris Doctor. While in law school, Kayvon served as an Executive Editor of the Texas Review of Entertainment & Sports Law. Since becoming licensed, he has practiced family law almost exclusively, earning recognition for his negotiation and litigation skills by being selected to the 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars lists.
Kayvon joined the team at Powers and Kerr, PLLC in August 2020, and works on a wide variety of complex and emotionally difficult of cases involving all areas of family law.
Kayvon is involved in the Austin Young Lawyers Association (where he served on the Board of Directors from 2018-2020), the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Austin Bar Association, and the American Civil Liberties Union. In 2017, he was selected to the Austin Bar Association/Austin Young Lawyers Association Leadership Academy.
